| Jeramy Gritter was born in Harlem, NY to a Peruvian father and a White-American mother.  Soon after, the family relocated to Allentown, PA which is where Jeramy was raised.

After high school, Gritter attended the prestigious University Of The Arts in Philadelphia (for Jazz Performance) on a scholarship.  A multi-instrumentalist (and guitar virtuoso) Jeramy dropped out of college the beginning of his junior year and decided to move to Hollywood to pursue his dreams of being a lead guitarist in a rock band.

Living in a box in Van Nuys, Jeramy made himself known around town socializing, working odd jobs and playing with numerous local (and national touring) bands and artists.

In a pieced together home studio, producing and writing for artists such as Mickey Avalon,
Run Run Run, Dirt Nasty, Andre Legacy, Shwayze, Chad Wolf (from Carolina Liar) and
countless more…Beardo was soon born.

Some initially perceived Beardo as a “joking side-project” of the uber-talented, multi instrumentalist, song writer.  Written off by many of his peers, Beardo took to the streets and online shamelessly promoting and touring to spread his gospel.
Touring over the past 3 years has taken Beardo back and forth across the United States countless times.  He also recently toured Australia and New Zealand with his mates Mickey Avalon and Dirt Nasty on a promo tour for apparel companies RVCA and Von Zipper.
Earlier this year, saw the release of Beardo’s self-titled debut CD .  The 13-track album is an irreverent fusion of rap, punk, and rock n' roll that uses big beats, out of date drum machines and loud classic guitar riffs.

The album starts with the song “Girls N Pills.”  The type of song (as Beardo puts it) that “you wanna get high and have sex too.”

“Alien Man” is an aggressive tune that tells the story of what it’s like “being a loner and an outcast and wanting to punch football players in the face”…as Beardo states.

One song Beardo highly recommends is “24 Hour Party.”  A song simply about having a good time.  To date, this has been the standout track of the album, getting local radio support and spins on radio stations KXLU and KROQ.

To date, press has included spreads in the LA Weekly, Thrasher Magazine and High Times, a memorable appearance on Tom Green’s highly publicized online show, and write up’s and blurbs in numerous other publications, websites, blogs, etc.

This past July and August, saw Beardo as a part of the “Blazed and Confused Tour” along-side Stephen Marley, Slightly Stoopid and Snoop Dogg.  September and October finds Beardo as direct support for Interscope recording artist Shwayze.  Come November, see Beardo back out on the road as direct support for his friend and Interscope recording artist Mickey Avalon.

October also marks the release of Nick Swardson’s (a huge Beardo fan) Comedy Central special/dvd “Seriously Who Farted” of which Beardo both appears and provided original music for.  Beardo has also recorded and scored original tunes for the likes of Reebok, VH1 and more.

With an independent album that to-date has sold over 5,000 copies world-wide;  the distribution of over 5,000 free 3-song EP’s;  viral marketing of numerous videos that have amassed millions of views on sites such as YouTube, Funny Or Die, MySpace, Vimeo and College Humor;  and 3-years worth of relentless touring which has brought him a growing legion of fans…it is no wonder why Beardo is quickly becoming a voice of today’s simple people, dealing with everyday problems.
