TIM JONES
A lot of things could be said about Tim Jones, but since bios are about clarification not speculation, we'll stick to the facts. This is what's known about him: Growing up in Dow Chemical City, he first fell in love with music when BET hit the air. For better or worse, Luke Campbell was a very big influence in those years. He got his start in college radio at WIDR 89.1 in Kalamazoo as a DJ, TimTimXtreme, where he hosted Xtreme Tim Time. He then became the business manager at WIDR, raising funds, keeping the lights on, and booking shows for the likes of Spoon, Stephen Malkmus, Of Montreal, Panthers, and many others. After school he moved out Los Angeles, and after a brief engagement at a comedy traffic school, he began working at the unfuckwithable art-punk label, Gold Standard Laboratories; running the office, crunching the numbers, mailing out sweet vinyl, and doing the in-house publicity and new media for the label's releases. In the fall of 2007 Tim launched Terrorbird's PR department. Currently, he lives in Los Angeles with his cat, Corndogg. Tim hates people who scratch off their lottery tickets at the cash register, people who bust out acoustic guitars at dance parties, slow drivers, and hip-hop/electronic producers turned singer-songwriters. Yet, he loves Phil Collins. Go figure.
