Lauren Ross abandoned her classical education from Berklee College of Music in favor of working with noise bands in the drizzly hippie/punk town of Olympia, WA. She spent several years at Kill Rock Stars / 5RC, working with the influential Slim Moon, all while pursuing her own artist management stint for St. Vincent. Never one to say no to a challenge, in 2006 Lauren started an in-house sync licensing department at KRS, and it turned out to be a blast! In April of 2009 she expanded her roster to include a variety of other amazing artists and labels she holds dear, by launching Terrorbird's licensing department in Brooklyn. In November 2010 Lauren partnered with Jess Caragliano to form Terrorbird Publishing, where she is proud to be furthering the careers of many of her favorite songwriters.
