JOSH BRIGGS

Josh was raised in the wilds of Western Massachusetts. Not the Pixies part, or the Dinosaur Jr part, or even the New Kids in the Block part. It was the Staind part. Luckily, that has very little to do with what happened next: He went to Emerson College in Boston, where he played music, and produced two WERS radio shows: One for children, and one, presumably (given its timeslot), for grown-ups. Rest assured, he had terrible on-air aliases for both. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he interned, temped, assisted and scouted at Capitol Records, which led him, circuitously, to the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP). There he stayed for six and one-half years, as Director of Pop/Rock Membership, working with such fine artists as Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Why?, Temper Trap, Active Child and approximately 400,000 others. He joined the Terrorbird Publishing Team in January of 2012, and there was much rejoicing.
