Boom Bip & Gruff Rhys (of Super Furry Animals fame) first worked together on a track for Bip's 2005 album Blue Eyed in the Red Room. Timing was tough as Gruff was also working on new Super Furry's and solo albums, fighting for time to write the lyrics and get in the studio - the voclas were recorded at Danger Mouse's California studio in one afternoon...

"We became really good friends" Bip recalls. "Gruff crashed on my couch for a few days. He drew inspiration from some of the books I had lying around, in particular Bahai Faith by Jessyca Russell Gaver." Needless to say, Gruff's portentous lyrics perfectly complemented the spooky, cosmic feel of the track with layered vocals, finger clicks, tablas, backwards guitars and mesmeric bass that spiral out into a proper LA-style, wig-out. Following huge support from fans, radio and press (including Single of the Week in NME), Do's and the Dont's was released as a ltd 7" on Lex Records...

Both artists agreed that they should do a full album together and busy schedules have finally permitted, however nobody guessed that a week in a London studio would build the foundations of a concept album based around the life of 80s automobile impresario John Delorean.

Moving from retro inspired drive-time pop to incredibly slick hip hop, Neon Neon are joined by a various guests including Yo Majesty, Fat Lip from The Pharcyde and Spank Rock.

The first single "Trick For Treat" is a limited edition picture disc out this summer on Lex Records.
