Gold Motel is excited to thaw the US with their summery, 60s pop tunes on their winter tour with Hellogoodbye, acting as main support for the first half of the tour. Kicking off on January 21st in San Luis Obispo, CA where the sun always shines, the tour takes Gold Motel across the US, playing at noteworthy venues including LA’s Troubador, Austin’s Stubbs BBQ, Cleveland’s Grog Shop, and NYC’s Highline Ballroom and dozens in between. As a special treat, Gold Motel has covered Hellogoodbye’s song “Here in Your Arms,” to be featured on a tour compilation featuring tracks from all five bands on the tour. The compilation will be available for free to fans that tweet about all five artists and the tour.

Gold Motel recently released their debut album Summer House to raves from SPIN, Nylon, Venus, Alternative Press, Filter, Fuse, and the LA Times, among others. The Chicago natives quickly followed up their debut with a 7” titled Talking Fiction. Leading up to this tour the band has played with an assortment of notables, including Motion City Soundtrack at the first annual Popsickle Festival, Minus the Bear, FUN, and Kate Nash.

Gold Motel’s 2010 tours introduced the public to the bouncy, soulful, Supremes-infused music, and now, as they hit the road with Hellogoodbye, the band will give fans more of what they need to brighten this cold winter.
