ee'·ko (t_'k_) _ n. Musician, producer, master turntablist, DJ. Co-founder of dominating DJ collective 4onefunk crew and turntable funk bands The Dollar Bin Quintet and 4onephonics.

Joining Bay Area DJ crew, Divide and Conquer in the 1990s was simply the dawn of Puerto Rican born Teeko's career as a musician. For nearly three years, Teeko entered and won DJ battles in competitive DJ circuits, appeared as a regular guest DJ on the popular San Francisco radio station, Wild 94.9, and continued to rock crowds in Northern California's premier venues, while consistently leaving a distinct flavor of funk that lingered in one's ear.

The blandness of the battle scene and restraints of the party environment began to restrict Teeko as he worked towards refining his craftsmanship as a scratch musician and producer. The sounds heard in his head were simply original and followed no traditional composition. Alongside his San Francisco based 4onefunk crew as well as a solo artist, Teeko toured from coast to coast, sharing the stage with great names, including some of jazz and hip hop's finest musicians from the Charlie Hunter Quartet and Ratdog to RUNDMC and Gangstarr. Across the oceans, the crew gained recognition in the international competitive DJ circuit, displaying innovating skill in the ITF World Championships in 2003. Teeko not only worked to refine his own skill, but to convince and enlighten nonbelievers of the validity of his musicianship and the perception of the turntable as an instrument.

Life has yet to decelerate for Teeko. Since 2005, dream ensemble, The Dollar Bin Quintet featuring turntablists Teeko, Mike Boo, Max Kane and Bcause and funky drummer J-1 have toured the west coast exhibiting revolutionary styles and novel skills. Teeko's widely anticipated debut album, "My SoundStation" is scheduled to release in October 2006, exposing his eclectic musical style and infinite creativity as a composer. He's most recently the grand prize recipient of the renowned Berklee School of Music's 2006 Milestones Innovative Producer's Contest.
