Epsilons return with KILLED 'EM DEADER 'N A SIX CARD POKER HAND, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album from last year. Ty Segall (guitar/vocals), Michael Anderson (keyboards), Charlie Moonheart (Bass), and Roland Cosio (drums) are all a year older, a year wiser and, as of this writing, all on track to be successfully graduated from Laguna Beach High School by the time KILLED 'EM DEADER hits the streets June 26 (distributed by Southern Records).

The band that started out using Walkie Talkies to record vocals on early demos stay true to their garage roots, recording this time around at The Distillery with their hero Mike McHugh (Le Shok, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Rocket From The Crypt, Lightning Bolt, The Melvins, The Starvations, etc) behind the board.

Epsilons' story starts in high school down in the real Laguna Beach, where the band formed three years ago. From there, they hitched their way up to LA and became a staple at all-ages clubs like The Smell, Il Corral, and the sadly now-defunct Poison Apple and Fort Cool ii. The band quickly made an impression everywhere they went: Poison Apple owner Chavoe Macias released the band's first EP on his Modern Sleeze record label in Winter 2005, and The Smell's Jim Smith put out a split 7" record (Epsilons b/w Hips) on his Olfactory Records label last Summer. In between, Epsilons released their self-titled debut album on Retard Disco and toured the west coast twice, playing shows with Bad Dudes, Mika Miko, Spider and The Webs, Partyline and many more.

KILLED 'EM DEADER 'N A SIX CARD POKER HAND features 14 new tracks, including Epsilons' take on The Mummies' cover of "Stronger Than Dirt" (the original version of the song, nearly unrecognizable, was by Jay and The Techniques).

With high school behind them, the band plans extensive touring this Summer in support of the new record, including shows with Gravy Train!!!! and Mae Shi. Also on the way: an epic 6-minute music video for the song "Teeny Boppers," stylized as a mini episode of MTV's Laguna Beach (and starring a season one C-list cast member).
