Friends of Friends returns with the REMIXED version of their inaugral release 'Friends of Friends Volume One ft Daedelus and Jogger'. The reworked HEATERS have been apart of the 'FoF Volume 1 T-shirt bundle' which includes a 100% organic cotton t-shirt with hand-drawn design by the incredible Kozyndan and a download code for Volume 1 + remixes (in form of a seed paper hangtag, yes it's plantable) until now... Starting July 28th, the remixes from heavy hitters Nosaj Thing, Michna, Eliot Lipp, Mexicans with Guns, Grahm Zilla(of Thunderheist), Meanest Man Contest, and Keenhouse will be available in digital retailers everywhere,

Remixers:

Michna (Ghostly)- Adrian Michna hit the scene heavy last year with his album Magic Mondays on Ghostly International. His song "Triple Dipped Chrome" is pretty much Friends of Friends' favorite song of last year so we HAD to ask him to be apart of the first release. The fact that he and Daedelus knew eachother and toured together was the icing on the cake. His remix is a minimal FIREBALL and should only be played loud and with big bass.

Eliot Lipp (Old Tacoma) - Having released records on Hefty, Prefuse 73's Eastern Developments, Mush and his own Old Tacoma imprint, Mr. Lipp is a savvy electronic veteran. Not only is Eliot a close friend of the label's, but Daedelus and himself have toured together extensively. Watch as he creates a synthy goodie out of Daedelus's "LA Nocturn".

Nosaj Thing (Alpha Pup)- This newcomer(Jason Chung) from the LA beat scene is allllll the rage right about now. His album Drift on Alpha Pup is critically acclaimed and even Pitchfork gave him "Best New Music" for his song "Coat of Arms". Now he's here, remixing Jogger b/c he's a homie. We might even see more from him in the future on FoF!!! For now check out his "Nice Tights" remix, it's an audio oasis.

Meanest Man Contest (Sneakmove/RCRD LBL)- RCRD LBL signed Meanest Man Contest kills their "Off to the Races" remix using crazy bits from songs alllll over. This track might be our favorite on the remixes b/c of newcomer Cuzzo. Who the hell is this kid?!? He raps dirty and we like it. Thanks to MMC for bringing this one to us!!!

Grahm Zilla (Big Dada/Thunderheist)- Grahm Zilla is well known for his work with Big Dada's Thunderheist who have basically been taking over the world(and definitely Canada). We can't believe we even landed this guy to get involved and he comes with a nice slow disco/electro vibe that really takes "Nice Tights" to the next level.

Mexicans with Guns (Exponential)- The man behind the mask is a fairly new producer to most of you out there, but anyone who's caught his remixes of Animal Collective's "My Girls", Faunts "Feel.Love.Thinking.Of" or even the upcoming Yppah's "Gumball Machine Weekend" to be released on Ninja Tune knows this dude is FOR REAL. Check out his bass-heavy glitch version of "Nice Tights" that even Daedelus is dropping in his live sets!

Keenhouse (Binary)- Ken Ranguty(Keenhouse) is a new disco man through and through. The German born producer is living in LA and running with the Binary crew as of late, pumping out late night synth driven tracks that are sure to make your hips shimmy. This one might be the sleeper on the release! He also took a crack at "Nice Tights"
