Vaughn Oliver (U-Tern) is one of Vancouver’s top-tier purveyors of cutting edge disco sleaze. Oliver Goldstein (aka Oligee) is a San Fernando Valley native and lifelong beat whisperer, a virtuosic overlord of third millenium romantifunk.

Together they form OLIVER, a group built to take arms against a sea of sonic trouble. And to prove their point, they already have a bunch of cool remixes to their name like the ones they did for Chromeo, Aeroplane, Britney (yes, her again) and of course Housse de Racket. Their rework of “Roman”, a true club gem that can often be heard in Le Grand Journal on French TV channel Canal Plus, has indeed conquered blogland and exhilarated DJs from all around the world.

Melodic and funky, “Dirty Talk”, which is also on the Gildas Kitsuné Club Night Mix #2, is no different and confirms their reputation for delivering bold tunes for big rooms. Backed by two remixes (one by Black Van and the other by our friends Punks Jump Up) and by another original track, the mini hit “Walk With Me”, no doubt that 2012 will be OLIVER’s year!
